I began the day with Gigi
On my way to work I saw Purple Hibiscus
and walked by The Distant Hours
to avoid Salem’s Lot
but I made sure to stop at The Other Side of the Bridge.
In the office, my boss said, When Will There Be Good News?
and sent me to research When God Was a Rabbit.
At lunch with The Girls
I noticed Jane Eyre
under The Poison Tree
then went back to my desk No Time For Goodbye
Later, on the journey home, I bought The Lovely Bones
because I have The Cat
then settling down for the evening, I picked up The Report
and studied The God of Small Things
before saying goodnight to Annabel .
Enjoying a good meme as much as the next blogger I couldn’t resist having a go at this latest one from Cornflower books. All you need to do is complete the above with titles of books you’ve read this year. I really enjoyed this fun and imaginative way of recapping the books I read in 2011. Thanks to cornflower books for the idea.
Hahaha! I want to try it! It’s going to be difficult as you’ve already mentioned several of the books I read this year. I’m going to give it a go though…
Definitely give it a go. I really struggled with the thing I bought! The rest was ok and such good fun 🙂
Are you going to post the results on your blog?
Here’s mine: http://manchestermeanders.wordpress.com/2011/12/22/a-day-in-books/
That was fun! I can only remember a fraction of the titles I’ve read this year so it was quite hard. I also tried to avoid using the books you used too so there wasn’t a lot of overlap.
I love yours!! Especially the Serial bit. Ha I know it’s tricky, we’ve being reading the same stuff for the past 5 months!
